USAWKF is in the process of preparing the 2009 US National Wushu Team to attend the upcoming 10th World Wushu Championship (10th WWC) in Toronto, Canada, from October 24th-29th.  The championships are organized by the Confederation of Canadian Wushu Organizations. This is the second time the world wushu championships are held in North America, the last one was held in Baltimore, Maryland by USAWKF in August, 1995. The US National Wushu Team will consist of 20 US male and female athletes who will be competing in both Taolu and Sanshou events. As the exclusive representive of the International Wushu Federation (IWUF), the USAWKF Delegation will also include observers to attend the event. If you are interested in participating in the team as an observer, please contact Lynn Wu at lynn.wulin521@gmail.com and send in your registration by August 12th, 2009.
 
USAWKF will charge an administration of $225.00 per person for handling the registration, room reservation etc. Your hotel fee includes airport pick-up, spectator passes, local transportation (from hotel to competition venue), and 3 meals a day. A US Wushu Team jacket is also included.
